Job Description Job Title: Speech and Language Pathologist Profession: Speech and Language Pathologist Specialty: Staff Augmentation Duration: Long-term Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Must hold a license from the State Board of Education Certifications: Relevant certifications preferred
Must-Have: - Ability to travel between multiple locations - Experience meeting with students individually as per individual education plan (IEP) requirements - Capability to evaluate students and provide progress documentation
Description: This position requires a licensed speech and language therapist to meet with students individually. Services will be provided in accordance with the students' IEP requirements. The candidate must provide necessary equipment or supplies for each session, if applicable. Evaluation of students at the initial visit is essential, along with the provision of improvement plans or other documentation regarding student progress. Progress reports must be submitted for review and will become a permanent record in the student's file. Contractors will be required to provide a schedule for each therapy session in advance. In special circumstances, participation in an IEP team meeting may be requested by designated school officials. This role involves traveling directly to facilities from home rather than reporting to an office. Students will receive approximately one hour of services, one to two times per month, depending on their IEP. This position is suitable for individuals willing to serve in various locations as needs arise.
