Manual Mill Machinist
1st Shift
$25 to 30 per hour based on experience
Key Responsibilities: 1. Set up and operate manual milling machines to perform precision machining operations. 2. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine the specifications for the parts. 3. Select and install the appropriate cutting tools, inserts, and fixtures for each job. 4. Monitor the milling process to ensure that parts meet quality standards and specifications. 5. Make adjustments to the machine settings as needed to maintain proper dimensions and tolerances. 6. Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they are in good working condition.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Proven experience as a Manual Mill Operator or similar role. - Strong knowledge of machining techniques and processes. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. - Good mathematical skills and attention to detail.
