What You'll Do: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems in a manufacturing environment to ensure optimal performance. Investigate and resolve electrical, mechanical, or operational issues using advanced problem-solving methods. Install and wire motors, switch panels, fuse boxes, and power circuits for operational efficiency. Create and update detailed layouts of electrical circuits and components. Apply expertise in PLC programming and work with Allen Bradley systems, including VFDs and 4-20 mA circuits. Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and increase workplace safety.
