Located on the Torrey Pines Mesa near I-5 and Genesee Avenue in La Jolla, Scripps Green Hospital has served the greater San Diego community since 1977. We provide some of the region’s best care, including several nationally ranked specialty programs.
Scripps Green Hospital is attached to Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines. Together we offer dozens of medical and surgical services, including cancer care, orthopedic surgery and organ transplantation.

Our surgical support staff focus on the unique skills required for assisting patients before, during, and after procedures.
Join our Scripps operating room team as a Lead Surgical Tech (Spine) where you will ensure OR rooms are ready for surgery, including all case-specific supplies and equipment are sterile and ready for use. Monitor sterile field throughout procedure. Scrub for cases, anticipate the needs of the physician and operating team. Take initiative to utilize appropriate support services to resolve issues. Position and transport patients. Organize room cleanup and ensure efficient room turnover, including decontaminating equipment as necessary.

specifically noted in your offer letter. Required Qualifications 3 years of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist in the OR. Technical competence in multiple surgical services. Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills. Current BLS from the American Heart Association Excellent communication skills. Basic computer skills. Able to multi-task and work well in a team environment. Detail oriented and able work well in a fast-paced, high stress environment.
