Job Description:

St. Peter's Management is looking for a team player This individual will need to be able to keep our building in a clean and presentable condition at all times. This position calls for an individual who is capable of heavy cleaning such as cleaning floors, taking out rubbish,washing windows and walls, kitchen cleaning, and general overall handling of janitorial duties.

Tasks:

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Gather, empty and take out recyclables.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, and chairs to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings.
• Clean and organize commercial kitchen; washing dishes when needed, store kitchenware properly, wipe down appliances, sweep/mop the floors, and take out the trash/recycling.
• Additional related duties necessary to this position as requested.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
