Northwell Health’s Department of Behavioral Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Psychiatrist at Mather Hospital. The ideal candidate should be committed to evidence-based care, energetic, innovative and enjoy a collaborative, team-based approach.
Adult Partial Hospitalization Program The Adult Partial Hospitalization program is an outpatient behavioral health treatment intervention designed to stabilize acute symptoms of mental illness for adults. Responsibilities include psychiatric evaluations, overseeing interdisciplinary treatment plans, evaluating medication regimens, discharge planning and providing supervision to ACP staff as needed.
