Academic Endocrinologist
Start Date: ASAP | Pay Rate: $220,000.00 - $230,000.00

Assistant Professor/Clinical - Adult Endocrinologist (MSRH)
We are seeking an Adult Endocrinologist to join our vibrant and rapidly expanding team. This is a full‑time faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor/Clinical level for a non‑tenure track position. The successful candidate must have a strong interest in developing an academic career.
MD, DO, board eligible or board certified
Texas Medical license or eligibility
Successful completion of an accredited residency/fellowship
Inpatient and outpatient duties at University Hospital
Opportunities for clinical research and teaching at UT Health San Antonio’s Gateway and the new Multispecialty and Research Hospital
Participation in a clinical fellowship program
Collaboration with adjacent VA Hospital
Leadership, education, and research opportunities
Formal mentorship programs
Support for teaching and multidisciplinary research
Substantial start‑up packages for appropriate research applicants
