Geisinger is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) fellowship-trained physician to join our dynamic and growing team at Geisinger Medical Center (GMC) in Danville, Pennsylvania. This is an exciting opportunity to practice high-quality, innovative pediatric emergency care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Job Duties Job duties are performed in accordance with the expectations of a PEM physician within a multidisciplinary team environment.
About the Team At Geisinger, you’ll work alongside a dedicated, multidisciplinary team of pediatric emergency professionals, including:
Over 50 certified Pediatric Emergency Medicine nurses
across the system
In‑house Pediatric Hospitalists and Neonatologists
available 24/7
Certified Child Life Specialists
to support children and families during care
Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
and emergency medicine physicians
Fellowship‑trained PEM physicians
who lead initiatives in education, quality improvement, and clinical innovation
Collaborative subspecialty support
from nearly every pediatric medical and surgical specialty within our 90‑bed children’s hospital

Starting salary: $350,000
Fellowship stipend:
$2,500/month from offer acceptance to graduation
Forgivable recruitment loan:
$100,000 paid in the first month
