Opportunity Overview Teradyne’s Integrated System Test systems utilize complex high-speed automation to manipulate semiconductor and storage devices, position them in test fixtures which simulate their real-life usage, and determine whether product quality levels have been achieved in the manufacturing process.

The Technical Product Manager will be based in Massachusetts. This role will report to the Senior Director of Product Management and Business Development of the Integrated Systems Test Division. In this role you will lead the product strategy definition as well as future positioning of our Storage product line at one of 3 major OEMs. Your leadership will directly influence how our products integrate and excel across segments, positioning Teradyne as the go-to provider in storage testing sector. This role involves collaborating and working with multiple teams in marketing, engineering, sales, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Participate and influence the organization to implement successful product strategies for our existing markets

Identify, win and negotiate business with key customers. Ensure that customer commitments and support are delivered to Teradyne standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Establish and maintain a collaborative working environment across product management, project management, research and engineering development teams, including production operations and support.

Sponsorship and active support of design‑ins including targeting, competitive differentiation, and resource allocation.

Development of competitive differentiation through sales and marketing collateral.

Coordination of key customer relationships and strategic engagement activities.

Participate in defining and the execution of the division’s mid‑term plan.

Grow market share by prioritizing, targeting, and supporting strategic design‑in activities, including resource trade‑offs

Product pricing strategy for the market, as well as working with sales on account discounting, including pricing approval to ensure rationalized pricing across the customer base.

Responsible for the searching and incubation of new business development opportunities that leverages the core capabilities of the group.

All About You

BS in engineering or equivalent experience. MBA or Masters in Engineering a plus.

8+ years of overall experience with at least 3+ years in product development, product management, or equivalent leadership experience creating and deploying advanced technical solutions (Semiconductor/Storage Capital Equipment preferred)

Proven ability to lead all aspects of a growing business including market development, customer engagement and sales

Strong influence, leadership, analytical, synthesis skills

Ability to travel up to 30%

Ability to establish internal credibility with peer managers as a provider of valuable solutions.

An understanding of operational requirements for the business and the ability to identify opportunities and solutions.

Skill in defining, leading and managing change.

Strength in building and working in a collaborative, team environment and in motivating top notch technical teams

Compensation Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is $126,800-$202,800. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
