Our client, a leader in medical device manufacturing, is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join their team. As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting product development and innovation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a passion for advancing healthcare technology, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Lead the development of innovative electrical solutions for infusion system products, ensuring safety and performance standards are met.
Define design requirements and hardware specifications based on customer and user needs.
Contribute to the development and documentation of electronic system architectures, including analog and digital circuit schematics.
Analyze circuits through calculation and simulation to assess performance limits and environmental effects, ensuring safety‑critical application compliance.
Coordinate with mechanical and software teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical designs into overall product systems.
What's Needed?
Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related Engineering field.
Proven experience in electromechanical hardware development, preferably within medical devices or highly regulated industries.
Strong knowledge of embedded microcontroller‑based electronics, FPGA‑based systems, and analog/digital design.
Experience testing electronic devices to meet immunity and emissions standards, with familiarity in CAD tools like Altium Designer and data acquisition software such as LabVIEW.
Understanding of standards such as IEC 60601, IEC 61010, UL, ANSI, and ASTM, with experience in sensing subsystem development being highly desirable.
