Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN)
Position Summary Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the LPN/LVN provides direct patient care and supports the development and execution of patient care plans. This role involves performing clinical tasks within scope of practice, assisting with procedures, administering medications, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN state license
CPR certification (ACLS/PALS as required)
Strong ethical standards and professional communication skills
Basic computer proficiency
Key Responsibilities
Obtain and document patient medical histories
Assist with procedures, positioning, and monitoring patients
Administer medications per physician orders and scope of practice
Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Support infection control, safety, and compliance standards
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
Participate in continuing education and staff training
Work Environment This position requires the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. Shifts may vary based on patient and center needs.
