Job Title: Data Scientist
Work Location: Hybrid in Redmond, WA
Duration: 6 months (extension possible based on budget approval)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week (No overtime)
Pay Rate range: $30 to $36/hr
Candidate Requirements Disqualifiers None; however, candidates must have some coding experience.
Preferred (Best vs. Average)
Strong feature/UI testing skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Outlook
Scripting proficiency (JavaScript or TypeScript preferred)
Experience with managed coding languages (C#, Java, Python)
Ability to develop tools and automation solutions
Familiarity with application logs, telemetry, and data querying (SQL or SCOPE)
Job Summary The Data Scientist coordinates changes to computer databases, performs testing, and implements solutions using database management system expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with senior management, technical, and client teams to define data requirements and best practices
Write and code logical and physical database descriptions
Design, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise data ETL processes
Modify and enhance existing databases and database management systems
Test programs or databases, identify and correct errors, and implement modifications
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
Experience: 0–2 years of relevant experience
Proficiency with database technologies and ETL processes
Knowledge of at least one scripting language
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Demonstrated success in data-driven project environments
Passion for data and helping businesses make data-informed decisions
Top 3 skills
Testing/QualityAssurance - 2 years
Developing tools (code development/scripting languages), applications, or services - 2 years
Microsoft Outlook proficiency - 2 years
