Pay Range:
$55/hr to $57/hr (On W2)
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced
Sr. Software Test Automation Engineer
with a strong background in
mobile application testing —preferably within a
regulated industry
such as
Medical Devices
delivering
Software as a Medical Device (SaMD)
solutions. The ideal candidate will possess solid programming skills, in-depth knowledge of
Android and iOS architectures , and proficiency in test automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute
manual and automated test scripts
for SaMD mobile applications.
Utilize
Python ,
Appium , and other testing tools for automation across real devices, emulators, and cloud device farms (e.g.,
BrowserStack ,
AWS Device Farm ).
Collaborate closely with
Test, Development, Product, and Delivery teams
to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
Manage and track testing activities and defects using
Jira .
Maintain comprehensive test documentation and report results clearly and accurately.
Participate in regular performance evaluations, with progress measured on the creation, maintenance, and execution of automated test scripts.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years
of experience in
mobile application testing , preferably in a regulated environment.
Strong coding experience in
Python
and/or
Java .
Hands‑on experience testing on
Android
and
iOS
platforms.
Proficiency with
Appium ,
BrowserStack , and
AWS Device Farm .
Experience using
IBM ETM
(preferred).
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, global team environment.
