Responsibilities
Technical Proficiency: Extensive Embedded Software Development Experience: Solid background in embedded systems development, particularly with Intel x86, ARM, and Zynq architectures. VxWorks and RTOS Expertise: Deep understanding of VxWorks, including core kernel capabilities, memory management, task scheduling, and real-time considerations. C/C++ and Assembly Language: Proficiency in C/C++ and assembly language for developing and optimizing embedded software. Low-Level Development: Experience with device drivers, BSP development, and embedded systems board bring-up. Debugging and Analysis: Strong analytical and debugging skills for complex embedded systems issues. Understanding of Operating System Concepts: Knowledge of process management, memory management, and file systems. Leadership and Team Skills: Leadership and Mentoring Experience: Proven ability to lead and mentor development teams. Technical Project Leadership: Capable of leading projects and driving innovation. Subcontractor Leadership: Oversight of subcontractor development efforts. Collaboration and Teamwork: Strong skills in working with local and remote teams. Agile Development Practices: Familiarity with agile and scrum methodologies. Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication abilities. Additional Experience/Knowledge (Desirable): Airworthiness: FAA, DoD, ARMY SRD, Air Force standards. Military Standards: Knowledge of ASPICE or automotive standards. Security: Embedded security, vulnerability analysis, secure bootloaders, secure protocols. Safety Certification: Experience with DO-178C, MIL-STD-882, ARP 4754, 4761 standards. Quality Assurance: Knowledge of AS9100 and AS9110 standards.
