What You'll Do:
As an Accounting Associate you will support in the areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end close, year-end reporting, and other administrative tasks.
Record vendor invoices and payments with accuracy and timeliness
Classify expenses according to generally accepted accounting principles, company policies, and budget
Record client invoices for payment and route for proper approvals
Partner with wealth management staff to support client bill-pay needs
Prepare and remit federal and state withholding payments and filings
Maintain accounts receivable, including invoice entry and payment posting
Use depreciation software to maintain and record fixed asset transactions
Support month-end close through account reconciliations, journal entries, and analysis
Complete monthly and quarterly state sales tax filings
Maintain electronic filing system of accounting records
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field preferred • 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience required • Hands-on experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and/or payroll tax filings • Proficiency with accounting software; ability to learn multiple systems
