Duties
You will interpret and implement laws, regulations, policies, standards, and procedures affecting Joint Mission Operations Center support activities.
You will support acquisition efforts once funding is secured to ensure capabilities are delivered on-time and to-standard.
You will educate others on operations support roles, responsibilities, requirements, and risks on an informal basis to improve shared understanding.
You will ensure that all information is managed in accordance with standing classification guidance and seek to enhance the overall security posture of the Joint Mission Operations Support activities.
Requirements
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

This position requires the incumbent to periodically be in an on-call status to support operational requirements. The incumbent will be provided an electronic device for the purpose of being contacted when in an on-call status.
The incumbent must remain within a 2-hour driving radius when in an on-call status and refrain from alcohol consumption that would prohibit them from driving to and from their place of duty.
The incumbent is allowed to make arrangements for another person to perform any work that may arise during the on-call period after coordinating this change with their supervisor.
Must possess and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance and obtain and maintain NSA badging for NIPR/SIPR/NSANet accounts. Failure to possess and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Must pass a Counterintelligence Polygraph and sign a non-disclosure agreement.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Position may require shift work schedule, holidays, and weekends in support of JMOC mission and a 24/7 operation.
