Job Opportunity At Ascension St. Vincent

Heart Care position available Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm at Ascension Medical Group - Clinic in Indianapolis, IN. Responsibilities include working in a customer service capacity providing administrative and clerical support to patients and customers in a medical setting. Duties include greeting patients and visitors, checking patients in and out, verifying and entering demographic information, obtaining and verifying insurance authorizations, completing medical record release requests, scheduling and confirming patient appointments, entering, reviewing, and submitting charges for patient procedures and services, collecting co-payments, and reconciling daily reports and deposits for accuracy. Providing general office and clerical support to assigned area.

Requirements include a high school diploma equivalency or one year of applicable cumulative job specific experience. Professional licensure or certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable. Additional preference for experience with front office operations in the medical field.
