As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will
Oversee scheduling of the front desk team.
Create an environment that’s engaging, where motivated people want to join, learn, do their best, and advance. Lead a diverse team by modeling the way, by empowering, and coaching throughout the employment lifecycle.
Keep a pulse on operational performance and hold team accountable for performance.
Available to work any shift: morning, night, or audit if needed.
Has flexibility to cover the desk in the event of a last minute absence.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Train the team on FOSSE, our front office system.
Necessary Skills and Attributes
MUST know FOSSE.
Have trained in Marriott properties in the past.
Excellent verbal, comprehension, listening and problem-solving skills
Interpersonal and time management skills
Adaptability and enthusiasm
Guest relation skills
Valid driver's license
Fundamentals You must be able to deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism. You will regularly use a computer and different software. Occasionally you will have to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; bend; walk; use hands or finger; or feel objects, tools or controls; lift boxes (up to 15 pounds); talk and hear. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision to a computer screen.
