Responsibilities
Lead and manage supply chain projects, including work transfer, dual sourcing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Coordinate and facilitate cross‑functional teams, including procurement, logistics, operations, quality, and engineering.
Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring business continuity and minimal disruption to supply chain operations.
Track project progress, monitor KPIs, and provide regular status updates to leadership.
Engage with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth implementation of sourcing and supply chain transitions.
Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate technical feasibility, qualification processes, and manufacturing readiness of alternative suppliers.
Ensure dual sourcing strategies align with technical specifications, quality requirements, and regulatory compliance.
Manage the engineering change process and coordinate with engineering, program management, production and supplier quality teams to implement dual sourcing strategies successfully.
Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve supplier performance.
Candidate Skills & Requirements
7+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or project management within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
Strong expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Experience in supplier management, strategic sourcing, and logistics operations.
Knowledge of engineering principles related to material selection, production processes, and supplier qualification.
Familiarity with technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and validation reports for supplier components.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems, project management software, and supply chain analytics tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment with tight deadlines.
