Behavior Technician (BT / RBT) – Bierman Autism Centers
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Job type: Full‑time
Pay range: $17–$20.50 per hour

Responsibilities
Conduct 1:1 therapy sessions with clients, following skill‑acquisition and behavior‑support plans.
Collect and record data; write detailed session notes.
Communicate with parents and caregivers about client progress, under guidance from the BCBA.
Assist the BCBA with preparing and organizing client materials.
Participate in required trainings to maintain functional and technical knowledge.
Follow the Guidelines set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Work toward becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) if not already certified.
Maintain a positive, collaborative work environment.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and be detail oriented.
Flexible and adaptable to meet team and client needs.
Integrity and professionalism.
Physical ability: lift/assist clients weighing at least 30 lbs; perform various postures (kneeling, squatting, etc.) and remain on feet for prolonged periods.
Manual dexterity for data collection and electronic documentation.
Read, comprehend, and transfer written data to electronic systems.
Maintain clean therapy space and administer medication as required.
Preferred Experience
Experience working with children ages 2‑12 in classrooms, daycare, or 1:1 settings.
Knowledge or experience with Applied Behavior Analysis principles.
Background in education or allied health.
