About The Job
The Senior Desktop Support Specialist is a senior technical resource and administrator of our Cloud infrastructure and SaaS applications within our IT team. A trusted partner who keeps our creative teams connected and our technology modern. This role goes beyond traditional tech support. It’s about enabling transformation through automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
As a senior member of the team, you’ll act as the primary escalation point for support, a mentor to junior team members, and a key contributor to the modernization of IT systems and workflows. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, architects, and operations teams to ensure our technology environment supports the firm’s mission to inspire and empower people to explore beyond the expected.
This is a hybrid role with an expectation of being in-office a minimum of two days per week, ideally including time on the firm’s anchor days, Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday. Three days in-office is encouraged to stay connected with project teams and the broader studio community. Occasional travel may be necessary but is rare.
What will you do in this role?
Serve as the senior escalation point for endpoint support across all offices, ensuring timely, customer-focused resolutions.
Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network issues across Windows, macOS, and Microsoft 365 environments.
Lead automation and integration initiatives using tools like Workato, Power Automate, or similar platforms.
Identify and implement workflow improvements that enhance efficiency and user experience.
Support deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle management of devices, software, and collaboration tools.
Manage and support hybrid meeting technologies, including Microsoft Teams Rooms and A/V systems.
Partner with internal teams to evaluate emerging technologies aligned with our digital transformation roadmap.
Maintain IT documentation, onboarding materials, and knowledge articles that support learning and transparency.
Mentor junior IT staff and model service excellence and continuous improvement.
You bring…
Minimum 7 years of experience in desktop or IT systems support roles, preferably in the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction industry.
Deep knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS, and Microsoft 365.
Experience with Active Directory / Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), and Teams administration.
Familiarity with Egnyte, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or other AEC platforms is a plus.
Hands‑on experience with automation tools such as Workato, Power Automate, or Zapier.
Exceptional customer service, communication, and collaboration skills.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with curiosity and learning agility.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or automation platform certifications preferred.

Competitive starting base pay: $56,000 – $85,000 annualized. Exact compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and internal equity within the established range.
