We are seeking a Procurement Specialist who is confident, organized, and eager to take initiative. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while also playing a critical role in driving company-wide efficiency. The Procurement Specialist will identify cost‑saving opportunities, streamline vendor relationships, and ensure we are purchasing the right items at the right price—without compromising quality or values.

Responsibilities and Duties
Key Responsibilities:
Manage purchasing activities across multiple departments, ensuring timely and cost‑effective procurement
Represent Cornerstone Caregiving professionally in all vendor interactions
Evaluate existing vendor relationships and explore new opportunities for cost savings and service improvements
Ask the tough questions—challenge processes and vendors when necessary to ensure we’re making the best decisions and getting the best price/value for the company
Identify inefficiencies across the organization and propose procurement‑based solutions
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance
Collaborate cross‑functionally to understand departmental needs and support strategic sourcing
Prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast‑paced environment

Confident and clear communicator
Personable and respectful in all interactions
“Type A” mindset—proactive and takes ownership
Independent worker who also enjoys collaborating across teams
Naturally curious and always looking for ways to improve systems and outcome
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Prior procurement or purchasing experience (especially in healthcare or service‑oriented industries)
Experience negotiating vendor contracts and pricing
Comfortable working with data, contracts, and internal budgets
