Our client, a de novo and Minority Deposit Institution, is seeking an Operations Specialist to join their team. As an Operations Specialist, you will be part of the Deposit & Loan Operations department supporting daily deposit processing, account management, and system enhancements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a collaborative attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Up to $60,000 annually
What's the Job?
Process and reconcile daily deposit transactions, including ACH, wires, check processing, and account adjustments.
Perform account maintenance tasks such as stop payments, holds, and account closures.
Monitor and resolve deposit exceptions, overdrafts, and fraud alerts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Support branch and customer service teams with deposit-related inquiries and issue resolution.
Assist with system testing, upgrades, and the implementation of new deposit products or services.
What's Needed?
Experience working with Fiserv banking core systems (e.g., DNA, Premier, Signature) is preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in deposit operations or similar banking roles.
Strong knowledge of banking regulations and deposit compliance standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to solve problems effectively.
