Overview
The Site General Manager leads the operations with integrity, accountability, and a people‑first mindset. This role drives operational excellence, financial performance, and client satisfaction while promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities
Parking and shuttle operations experience required. Lead, direct, and develop a team of employees to accomplish annual and periodic goals/initiatives, while embodying and using LAZ Parking's culture as a guideline. Identify high potential employees to support the organization's continued growth. Prepare annual operating budgets and monthly reviews of profit/loss statements. Develop client relationships and business retention. Organize and narrate parking management skills for all employees and supervisors. Implement all requirements outlined within the contractual agreement between LAZ Parking and the client. Provide daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial and operational reports as required. Ensure increased revenue, managed expenses, and customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest level of service thresholds and initiatives aligned with client expectations. Manage, plan, schedule, train, and direct the activities of employees and supervisors, in compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreements. Liaise with parking patrons and stakeholder groups impacted by the operations of the assigned portfolio. Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from the operation. Participate in labor contract management, if applicable. Review and edit proposed parking, maintenance, etc. agreements. Communicate with local police departments and emergency management teams regarding operations. Organize and manage the oversight of event operations within LAZ Parking. Monitor, review, and analyze market rate structures. Identify future hiring needs and develop job descriptions and specifications. Maintain audit principles, practices, and methodologies required. Submit required annual documentation. Support creation of the marketing budget while monitoring marketing costs. Ensure safety SOPs are followed and prioritized using resources such as Samsara, Safety Manager, location inspections, safety audits, daily huddles, LAZ People, etc. Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. 5+ years in a management role. 10+ years in parking experience required. Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and general Microsoft Office applications. Skills & Experience
DOT certification or willing to obtain within the first 30 days of employment. Strong customer service skills and abilities. Approachable and capable of facilitating coaching conversations with employees and managers. Capable of leading others to overcome challenges with a “Never give up” attitude. Encourages open expression of ideas and opinions. Excellent team‑building and interpersonal skills. Independently manages multiple tasks. Professional and effective communication with all organizational levels. Interprets policies, procedures, and standard business practices. Demonstrates sense of urgency and timeliness. Physical Demands
Willingness to work in various elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc. Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 25 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods. Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift. Ability to drive a passenger shuttle when needed.
