Overview
Experience in fast‑paced, retail environments with a passion for customer service and operational excellence. This role leads a team of Task Associates to drive sales growth, manage inventory and ensure compliance with corporate standards.
Responsibilities
Promote a culture of accountability for retail and service sales, guest loyalty, payroll, omni‑channel, and retail shrink.
Drive profitability through operational excellence and top‑line sales growth.
Utilize store forecast and payroll budgets for scheduling, communicating needs, and achieving sales goals.
Analyze and react to financial and operational reporting, store visits, and audit results.
Conduct makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests.
Maintain attendance, support associates with attendance policy, and enforce store policies.
Attract, hire, and retain a diverse team; provide coaching, development, and succession planning.
Lead Guest Engagement Leader program and other associate development initiatives.
Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty’s policies, dress code, and safety standards.
Use scheduling and task management tools.
Execute shipment, replenishment, omni‑channel, price changes, and markdowns.
Apply inventory control processes, report theft, and support loss prevention.
Drive continuous improvement through technology and process initiatives.
Communicate business trends, opportunities, and challenges to field leadership.
Job Qualifications Education
High school diploma preferred.
Experience
1‑2+ years in fast‑paced retail management or related field.
Financial management: driving sales, interpreting data, managing payroll budgets, controlling expenses.
Retail management: monitoring inventory, achieving operational excellence, driving service culture, executing merchandising directives.
Leadership: attracting, developing, and motivating talent; adapting to change; collaborating and influencing a team.
Skills
Proficient with POS, Microsoft Office, Apple devices.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
Ability to react under pressure, use good judgment, and be flexible.
Special Position Requirements
Flexible full‑time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Shifts starting at 5:00 a.m.
Availability to work Sundays and Mondays.
Working Conditions
Continuous mobility in store during shift.
Continuous bending, pulling, pushing, crouching, stooping, reaching, twisting.
Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects.
Frequent lifting up to 40 lbs.
Frequent use of computer, telephonic devices, and office supplies.

Pay range:
$20.00 – $30.00 per hour, with opportunity for additional compensation through the Company’s bonus plan.
