About the Team APIs are at the center of how Capital One builds and manages the technology foundation of the company. This role will have general PM responsibilities in various aspects of API management, focusing on the broad API ecosystem, AI‑centric capabilities, and enabling API developers to meet security and governance standards. We’re passionate about building platform software for the next generation of developers at Capital One.

Basic Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (same list) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
MBA or Master’s degree
Experience with API platforms or API management in an enterprise environment
Experience with cybersecurity, especially with APIs and cross‑enterprise use cases
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification

Chicago, IL: $144,000 - $164,400
McLean, VA: $158,400 - $180,800
New York, NY: $172,800 - $197,200
Plano, TX: $144,000 - $164,400
Richmond, VA: $144,000 - $164,400
Additional performance‑based incentive compensation may be available.
