Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Quality Inspector I-A2/B2 (SLC) to join their team. As a Quality Inspector I-A2/B2 (SLC), you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting inspection and quality control processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Inspector I-A2/B2 (SLC)
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Pay Range: $20.33
Shift: 12-hour rotating shift from 6:30PM to 6:30AM
What's the Job?
Perform accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies according to inspection plans and specifications
Conduct routine and non-routine inspections using microscopes, calipers, and micrometers
Ensure products meet internal and external quality standards and specifications
Support documentation processes including archiving and scanning of inspection records in Agile
Assist in initiating Non‑Conformance reports and support CAPA activities as needed
What's Needed?
High School diploma or GED equivalent required; AA or technical degree preferred
Basic computer skills for documentation and communication
Good written and oral communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
Knowledge of medical device regulations and FDA standards is a plus
Ability to perform inspection tasks and operate standard inspection tools
