Responsibilities

Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for CNC machinery (including lathes, mills, and routers).

Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.

Improve equipment uptime and overall production reliability.

Administer the CMMS system to track work orders, maintenance history, and asset performance.

Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance with minimal operational impact.

Manage maintenance and servicing of buildings, grounds, and facility infrastructure.

Oversee building security systems and ensure proper protocols are followed.

Implement and maintain 5S workplace organization standards.

Coordinate maintenance and support of network infrastructure and facility-wide equipment.

Supervise, coach, and support maintenance repair staff and facility technicians.

Delegate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.

Provide training on CNC maintenance practices and safety procedures.

Establish departmental KPIs and use performance data to drive improvements aligned with business goals.

Ensure proper staffing levels and foster employee development to support operational needs.

Develop, manage, and track the facilities and maintenance department budget.

Identify, source, and oversee external vendors for specialized repairs and services.

Maintain required inventories of critical spare parts and consumable supplies.

Administer EH&S programs and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable state and local regulations.

Conduct routine safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.

Manage proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.

Maintain documentation for environmental permits, inspections, and training activities.

Lead safety training initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.

Minimum 4 years of Maintenance Management experience within a CNC manufacturing environment.

Must have experience with CNC equipment.

OSHA 30 certificate desired.

Strong CMMS experience.

Proven ability to coordinate multiple tasks.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary Range: $90K-$110K annually
