Our client, the financial services industry, is seeking aData Engineer to join their team. As a Data Engineer, you will be part of the FI Data Solutions team supporting data platform development and financial product integration. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Design, build, and maintain operational and analytical data capabilities within the data platforms.
Develop end-to-end solutions for data ingestion, transformation, and validation using Java Spring Batch, SQL, and AWS services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new financial products into the data ecosystem, enhancing reporting and analytics capabilities.
Optimize SQL queries for performance and ensure data quality and integrity.
Support production rollout and ongoing maintenance of data solutions, ensuring high availability and reliability.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
Strong proficiency in SQL, especially with Oracle and Snowflake databases.
Minimum of 4 years of Java development experience, with hands‑on work in Spring Batch for ETL processes.
Experience working with AWS cloud services, including AWS Batch, S3, and IAM.
