Responsibilities

Provide product technical expertise for assigned property & casualty insurance lines of business, including underwriting, claims, legal, regulatory, and system implementation aspects.

Serve as key point of contact for Operating Units regarding product development and filing requests leveraging existing General Risk Filings.

Review insurance bureau changes and recommend actions to Operating Units.

Coordinate product development, adoption, implementation, and modification efforts with EPSS Actuarial, EPSS Regulatory, and other stakeholders.

Prioritize product change requests to maximize efficiencies.

Deliver in‑depth overview of current product suite to new Operating Unit entrants.

Assist with project initiation, planning, and execution for moderate to high complexity projects.

Consult on jurisdictional regulatory issues and compliance methods.

Conduct research, provide communication, and recommend direction to EPSS Staff and Operating Units.

Lead periodic product/ rate reviews with EPSS Actuarial and EPSS Regulatory.

Stay abreast of industry trends, changes, and company‑wide developments.

Develop and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with EPSS Actuarial, Regulatory, Quality Assurance, Technology Services, and internal personnel.

Develop proficiency with Genesys System and produce business requirements for system implementations.

Assist with Quality Assurance and Quality Control initiatives, including testing responsibilities and investigation of system failures.

Participate in corporate projects, assist in developing new policy administration systems, and develop end‑user tools to support Operating Units.

Serve on WRBC committees and ad hoc user groups.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum of 15 years P&C insurance industry experience.

Minimum of 10 years of proven underwriting or product experience in assigned lines of business.

Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to successfully interact with varied levels of personnel.

Ability to work in a collaborative, team‑based environment.

Ability to work autonomously with little direction or oversight.

Prior knowledge and experience in working with insurance company operating systems and related technology.

Proficiency with Excel and various data manipulation software.

Consistently demonstrate WRBC Core Competencies and Innovation Behaviors.

Education Requirement

Bachelor’s Degree.

Industry Designations Preferred – CPCU, AU, ARM, etc.

Benefits and Salary Salary range – $130,000 to $190,000, dependent on experience and location.
