Classification Full‑Time / Non‑Exempt

Reports to Sales Manager

Compensation & Benefits

$17.00 per hour DOE

Schedule Winter Hours:

9:00 – 5:30 pm – Weekends required *

Summer Hours:

10:00 – 6:30 pm – Weekends required *

Job Summary The Customer Service Specialist/Sales Team member interacts directly with retail customers in the retail area and at the point of sale. The CSS ensures all customer service needs are met while also promoting the additional sale of goods and services where the opportunity may exist. The CSS is a valued member of the team because they have the biggest impact on the outstanding service we strive to deliver.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide required and requested information to customers as they enter the store.

Offer friendly and enthusiastic answers to customer questions.

Ask questions of customers to identify needs and work with them to provide options.

Work as a team towards housekeeping, janitorial, and other duties as assigned by the task list (e.g., cleaning tires, carrying batteries, mopping floors).

Identify when customer interaction requires assistance from management.

Follow loss prevention, risk control, quality assurance, and proper cash handling procedures.

Promote the company’s Safety Culture.

Be a team player. Work as a member of the team to help the team achieve its goals.

Maintain a high level of integrity.

Follow all company policies and procedures.

Other duties as assigned or otherwise identified.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must have good people skills with an outgoing, friendly, positive attitude.

Must have some automotive parts knowledge and how they relate to our customer purchases.

Ability to use POS system.

Able to work retail hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays. **

Must be willing to get a little dirty sometimes.

Must have a reliable means of transportation.
