Responsibilities
Designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive test plans, test scenarios/cases, and test processes.
Crafting and maintaining meticulous AOC (Air Operations Command) install documentation.
Demonstrating a clear understanding and execution of Install, Test, and Evaluation procedures for software and hardware upgrades.
Executing precise documentation revision and problem resolution.
Expertly installing and configuring critical systems across Windows, Windows Server, and Linux (RHEL8) environments.
Conducting installations in strict accordance with required documentation, then developing test documentation and performing functional tests on core infrastructure post-major upgrades to ensure systems maintain legacy functionality.
Operating effectively within the dynamic framework of Agile Developmental processes.
Identifying critical needs, leveraging available resources, and formulating robust solutions based on thorough data collection and analysis.
Required Qualifications
Familiarity with designing, developing, and implementation of test plans, test scenarios/cases, test processes and AOC install documentation.
Must have a clear understanding of Install, test and evaluation procedure for software and hardware upgrades, to documentation revision and problem resolution.
Experience in installing and configuring systems (Windows, Windows Server, Linux RHEL8).
Demonstrated ability to conduct installation in accordance with required documentation, develop test documentation and conduct functional tests on core infrastructure after major upgrades to ensure systems maintain legacy functionality.
Experience in the Agile Developmental process.
Ability to identify needs, available resources, and provide solutions based on data collection/analysis.
BS in Computer Science, a related engineering field, or STEM degree, and 5 years relevant, applicable experience or 10 years relevant, applicable Core Administrator experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in at least two of the following:
Cisco IOS and NX-OS network devices
Microsoft Windows Active Directory
VMware vSphere
Microsoft SQL Server
Windows Enterprise 2019/2022 Server
JIRA/AQIRA
Cisco Identity Service engine
Palo Alto Networks Firewall
Windows Server Update Service (WSUS)
Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)/Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
Citrix XenApp
McAfee/Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator
Exchange 2019
US Citizenship and a Secret security clearance
Desired Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary project/team.
In-depth knowledge of AOC, its mission, and systems on the current Block 10 baseline.
Proven ability to prioritize and complete tasks while adeptly balancing multiple assignments.
A thorough understanding of AOC’s technical diagrams, documentation, configuration, maintenance guides, and operations.
Proficiency in applying verification and validation instructions to AOC Install documentation.
Location: Hampton, VA
Estimated salary range: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset.
