Missile Production Program Managers
for multiple levels to support the Advanced Weapons Business Unit located in Northridge, CA. This position is required to be full‑time, on‑site in Northridge, CA. No remote/telework arrangement is available for this position. Applicants must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance with ability to obtain SAP.
The Missile Production Program Managers lead and manage the production of the Advanced Anti‑Radiation Guided Missile‑Extended Range (AARGM‑ER), an air‑launched, counter‑air‑defense weapon system for U.S. and FMS customers. They oversee production contract execution phases including kick‑off, planning, material procurement, manufacturing, and delivery.
Responsibilities
Lead and direct cross‑functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet program cost, schedule and technical performance objectives
Manage DoD customer relationships
Measure and report program performance
Develop and brief executive‑level presentations to customer leadership, executive management, and other program stakeholders
Participate in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, schedule milestones, and key terms and conditions
Support and at times lead the development and adherence to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control methodologies and tools
Identify, allocate and manage program resources, including workforce planning
Coordinate with Government Property team in support of government/customer supplied property or information (GFE, CFE, etc.)
Support the management of Intercompany Work Order (IWO) and independent suppliers to meet program objectives
Adhere to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards
Support and at times lead the development and adherence to master plans and integrated master schedules
Conduct thorough risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation and realization
Support and lead proposal preparation process as required

High Resilience: Integrity and resilience under pressure, and ability to make data‑driven decisions
Continuous Improvement: Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of program management experience OR a master’s degree and 6 years of program management experience
4+ years of managing production programs
Experience leading high‑performing, cross‑functional teams within the aerospace/defense sector
Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at or under cost achieving all requirements as either a project lead, integrated program team lead or cost account manager
Proficiency in project management tools and processes such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and Risk and Opportunity Management
Management of firm‑fixed price (FFP) projects
Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance with ability to be cleared for SAP
Preferred Qualifications
A degree in science, engineering, or business
PMP® certification
Experience managing programs as the Prime Contractor for DoD systems
Experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks
Location & Salary The role is based in Northridge, CA. The primary level salary range is $133,000.00 to $289,600.00. Secondary level salary range is $0.00 to $0.00. Salary is based on scope and responsibilities, experience, education, skills and market conditions. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonus. Vice‑President or Director positions may be eligible for Long‑Term Incentives.
