Job Summary: We are looking for a detail‑oriented
Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst
to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual and automated testing, a strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), and the ability to identify and resolve defects efficiently. This is a fully remote role, but applicants must be based in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute
test plans, test cases, and test scripts
to ensure software quality.
Perform
manual and automated testing
to identify bugs and usability issues.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and create test strategies.
Track, document, and report bugs using tools like
JIRA, TestRail, or Bugzilla .
Conduct
regression, functional, integration, and performance testing .
Ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
Work with automation frameworks such as
Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright .
Provide feedback to improve the overall user experience and software functionality.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2+ years
of experience in software testing and QA processes.
Familiarity with
Agile/Scrum methodologies .
Strong knowledge of
testing tools and bug-tracking systems .
Experience with
SQL for database testing .
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Strong communication skills to report findings effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with
API testing tools
(Postman, SoapUI).
Familiarity with
CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
(Jenkins, Git, Docker).
ISTQB or other QA certification.
Knowledge of
security and performance testing .
