We are seeking a
Senior Litigation Associate
attorney to join our Irvine, California office. Matters handled by this dynamic group include the analysis of various types of claims as well as high-stakes litigation. This is a hybrid position in our
Irvine office .
Overview Essential job duties include:
Responsibilities
Overseeing complex insurance coverage litigation and managing multiple cases from onset to resolution in state and federal courts.
Conducting thorough analysis of insurance policies and coverage provisions to determine coverage and liability.
Providing strategic legal advice to clients on insurance coverage issues, policy interpretation, and case status reports.
Preparing and drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and supporting briefs for court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
Collaborating with colleagues and clients to develop case strategy and ensure timely communication.
A successful candidate will also
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Be skilled in legal research and analysis.
Have superb administrative skills.
Possess the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
Be diligent, driven, and eager to learn.
Possess the ability to take ownership of their work.
Qualifications
Active bar license in California
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
At least 5 years
of Insurance coverage and/or Litigation experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional writing, organizational, and advocacy skills
