PROJECT MANAGER (ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR – TRAFFIC DIVISION)
Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for a Project Manager (Electrical Contractor – Traffic Division) in Austin, Texas.
Compensation & Benefits
Total Compensation:
$120,000 – $160,000

Duties & Responsibilities
Lead overall project execution from pre-construction through close-out for traffic signal and roadway lighting projects.
Develop, update, and manage detailed project schedules and budgets to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
Coordinate and communicate daily with field superintendents and foremen to verify progress and resolve issues.
Manage and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
Oversee procurement of materials and equipment to meet project timelines.
Interface directly with owners, general contractors, and engineers to maintain strong client relationships.
Ensure all work complies with contract requirements, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Lead project meetings, prepare progress reports, and monitor financial performance against estimates.
Support and mentor project engineers and junior staff to build strong future leadership within the division.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience
in project management for electrical contractors (preferably traffic signal and infrastructure projects)
Strong knowledge of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices and TexITE best practices
Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
Stable work history and strong references
Local candidates preferred;
