Job Description
This is a remote position. The Project Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of projects involving the planning, design, and implementation of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. This position works within a project team managed by an Engagement Leader. As such, this position will plan, manage, and coordinate project activities for all projects assigned to the team to ensure goals and objectives of multiple and large projects are accomplished within the prescribed timeframe and funding parameters. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Coordinates EHR projects and ensures project initiatives and timelines are met. Develops project initiation process by creating project plans and timetables, and tracking execution and workflow; prepares, presents, and distributes project status reports. Builds and maintains working relationships with customers, team members, vendors and other departments involved in the projects. Supports the Engagement Leader and the Project Team by monitoring assigned project implementations; ensures deadlines are met, escalates issues for appropriate, timely resolution and adheres to standardized project management. Serves as liaison to project sponsors, project teams and stakeholders; works with internal, external groups to optimize success of project deployment. Works on various assignments that require interpretation and independent decisions on course of action. Performs related duties as required. Requirements
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) At least 4 years of project management experience, preferably with EHR implementations. Proficient in Microsoft Project and Excel. Able to travel to client sites as needed. Good social and presentation skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. High self-initiative with the ability to work well and adhere to deadlines. Able to work effectively with minimal supervision. Results driven, focused on achieving results and navigating complex healthcare environments and needs. Preferred Qualifications A bachelor's degree in any field of study. Experience as an EHR Project Manager. PMP Certification. Willingness to travel:
