What you’ll do
Create or modify telecommunications and permit drawings
Design small extensions and small system redesigns, in accordance with customer design specifications
Produce high-quality drafts using AutoCAD or other specified software for mapping data and design
Coordinate project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that drafting and design work aligns with overall project goals
Provide necessary information to the team on a timely basis, including strand maps, drafted design maps, and BOM's or digital files
Maintain high production levels to meet & exceed client expectations
Learn new software and adapt to new technology as needed
Meet project deadlines and successfully complete tasks under tight timelines
Other duties as assigned
What you’ll need
To be 18 years of age or older
Authorization to work in the United States for this company
High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or up to two years of Telecom Outside Plant (OSP) Design/Engineering Experience is required
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred
Coursework or internship experience in design and drafting is preferred
Physical abilities & exposures
Routinely
: Work alone in remote locations, use keyboard and mouse
Occasionally
: Operate vehicle, climb stairs, stand, walk
