Job Summary Registered Nurse PRN – Provide nursing care in the cardiac catheterization lab. Deliver safe, evidence‑based nursing care and support the team in an acute, high‑pressure environment.
Responsibilities
Determine priority of patient care and complete work within appropriate time frame.
Delegate work appropriately to job classification with clear concise directions.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of work performed.
Follow hospital policy and procedure in performing job functions, skills and tasks.
Adjust personal schedule in cases of workload fluctuations or other departmental needs.
When assigned work is complete, seek additional tasks to be done.
Perform well in stress and emergency situations, demonstrating effective coping skills.
Follow through with assignments and inform supervisor if unable to complete task.
Qualifications
Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
(RN) Registered Nurse of Texas or compact licensure required.
Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate Degree required.
Cath Lab experience required.
On call and must reside within 30 minutes from the facility required.
