RN- Med/Surg (Night Shift)

Job Overview Experienced Canadian registered nurses are encouraged to apply for a full‑time, night‑shift RN position at Trinity Health Livonia, a 304‑bed acute care hospital in Livonia, MI.

Schedule: 36 hours per week on 12‑hour shifts with weekend rotation and holiday commitments.

Responsibilities

Manage patient care during a designated timeframe, coordinating and evaluating care.

Teach and delegate patient activities to other health‑care team members using therapeutic self, nursing process, and environment.

Administer chemotherapy and provide specialized oncology care on a 29‑bed telemetry‑capable Med/Surg unit.

Deliver compassionate, comprehensive treatment for patients with complex needs such as AKI, COPD, pneumonia, and respiratory failure.

Maintain high standards of patient safety, quality of care, and efficient performance.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

BSN within five years or agreement to obtain BSN in writing.

Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required.

BLS certification required.

Previous medical‑surgical experience preferred.

Proficient computer skills and excellent customer‑service abilities.
