to serve as a Registered Nurse on the Post Medical Surgical Unit, working full‑time midnights (7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.) with rotating weekends and holidays.
Location: Henry Ford Providence Southfield Campus, Henry Ford Providence Hospitals.
Sign‑on bonus: Up to $10,000.00. Benefits: Full‑time benefit eligible.
Responsibilities
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.
Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and family.
Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team.
Serves as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well‑coordinated patient care.
Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
Education & Experience
BSN preferred.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Certification & Licensure
Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
Health care provider certification (BCLS).
