Job Summary And Qualifications Our imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a Florida‑licensed Radiology Technologist for a full‑time opportunity. As an X‑Ray Tech on our team, you will take radiographs (x‑rays) of patients to assist physicians in diagnoses/treatment and carefully perform procedures accurately and in a compassionate and respectful manner.

Your tasks and responsibilities as a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) may include:

Possess sound and thorough knowledge of all diagnostic radiographic procedures and related equipment including surgical, portable, trauma, general and fluoroscopic.

Obtain high‑quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images, ensuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation; use appropriate lead markers as well as date and time stickers where indicated.

Select proper and accurate technical factors and techniques to accommodate patients and assist in administration of contrast media.

Prepare, transfer and position patients as needed, ensuring modesty and safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices.

Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time.

Maintain proactive and effective communication with patients, caregiver colleagues and the radiologist.

Check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross‑contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked with linens and necessary supplies.

Qualifications

Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program at an AMA‑approved school.

Valid ARRT certification.

Clear/active Florida Department of Health CRT licensure.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Ability to perform work which requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment (100 lbs ±).
