Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated
Therapist
to join our treatment team. The Therapist will be responsible for providing individual, group, and family therapy services to clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
The ideal candidate will be a
registered intern
with a master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or a related field, and will bring prior experience in behavioral health treatment. Experience in an outpatient or PHP/IOP setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions with clients.
Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational requirements.
Provide crisis intervention and support to clients as needed.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team members to ensure continuity of care.
Communicate with families and referral sources regarding client progress when appropriate.
Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and clinical supervision.
Stay current with evidence-based practices and continuing education relevant to dual-diagnosis treatment.
Qualifications
Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
Registered intern status (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT track, or equivalent).
Previous experience working in behavioral health treatment required.
Outpatient or PHP/IOP experience is strongly preferred.
Strong skills in group facilitation, individual counseling, and documentation.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Schedule & Compensation
Full-time position (schedule to be determined).
