Hands of Hope Physical Therapy & Wellness, is looking to hire a Physical Therapist to join our team!
At Hands of Hope Physical Therapy & Wellness, Physical Therapists will develop individual treatment plans for patients to assist in their long-term recovery. To be successful in this role you must be knowledgeable in evaluation and treatment practices, up to date on current clinical research to get our patients better faster!
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy New York State Physical Therapy License Good Communication and interpersonal skills Physical Therapist License-NYS Masters Degree in Physical Therapy or related field (Preferred) Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization Responsibilities
Provide engaging, one‑on‑one care with patient evaluations Select appropriate assessment tools and methods to accurately determine the patient's status and develop an optimal treatment plan Demonstrate effective clinical decision‑making and implement changes/adaptations to the treatment plan when appropriate Implement treatment plans and protocols according to current professional and health system standards Perform direct patient care, including evaluation of muscle, skeletal, neurological, and other physical problems Support and encourage multidisciplinary coordination of treatment Ensure proper documentation of patient care Plan, design, implement and interpret specific occupational therapy treatment programs for patients to facilitate recovery and attainment of maximum physical potential Establish achievable and appropriate treatment goals with patient and family Maintain professional relationships with all employees and adhere to company policies Support marketing initiatives by attending marketing and outreach events as requested
