National Material Processing (NMP) was formed in 1964 and is considered a leader in metals processing and supply‑chain management solutions. NMP supports prominent industrial and consumer product manufacturers across a wide variety of industries.

Job Duties
Assemble specified number of pieces of finished product as per work order instructions
Wrap bands, label, and identify items for shipment
Follow customers specifications for packaging
Comply with all plant safety rules and guidelines
General material handling duties including overhead crane and forklift usage
Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
Observe machine operation to detect material defects or machine malfunctions
Maintain all production and quality related reporting
Setup and operate a slitter
Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED is necessary
1-3 years in manufacturing industry is preferred. If applicants do not have manufacturing experience, on-the-job training will be offered.
Previous machine operation, material handling, production or other warehouse related experience is mandatory.
Basic math, measurement, computer skills, and ability to follow directions.
NMP employees must be able to repeatedly lift up to 10lbs and occasionally lift up to 30lbs as needed.
Ability to follow all safety and health regulations
Prior expereince with picking, packing, operation of machinery, and/or knowledge of pickling and slitting is preferred.
