Special Projects Pharmacist
SpecialtyRx, Inc.—a Long‑Term Care pharmacy serving long‑term care facilities and assisted living communities—seeks a licensed pharmacist for our 2nd shift (2:30 pm–11:00 pm) with rotating weekends. We offer a $2,500 sign‑on bonus, payable after completing six months in the 2nd shift role. Responsibilities
Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and proper administration. Ensure that dispensed medicines are correctly supplied and labeled. Handle miscellaneous tasks, checks, and prepacks. Review medications and narcotics for the automated dispensing machine. Work on clarifications of orders and follow‑ups. Obtain emergency CII verbals from physicians. Coordinate emergency kits and check cassettes for the Omnicell machine. Perform “on‑call” duties when required. Complete any other tasks assigned by the Pharmacist in Charge. Qualifications
Licensed pharmacist in the State of Florida. Long‑Term Care experience preferred. Previous experience in hospital, retail pharmacy, or other medical fields. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Strong organizational skills. Computer skills. Knowledge of framework/ECM software a plus. Company Benefits
