Shift & Summary Weekend option (Day). Full time. Saturday, Sunday, Monday 7am-7:30pm. Expert sonographer capable of routine and specialized ultrasound procedures.

Responsibilities

Proficiently perform diagnostic exams as directed by the radiologist, recognizing findings that may require immediate clinical response.

Serve as a preceptor in troubleshooting and reporting malfunctioning equipment.

Explain procedures to patients and families in an effective manner.

Oversee student activity and participation.

Demonstrate expertise in all areas of sonography and communicate this expertise to coworkers.

Assure proper maintenance of the work area.

Assist with service recovery, ensuring proactive communication with patients and families.

Participate in performance improvement activities.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education:

Associate’s degree or equivalent from two‑year college, technical school, or nursing diploma.

Recommended Education:

Bachelor’s degree.

Required Work Experience:

Direct – 6 years of experience.

Recommended Work Experience:

Direct – Pediatric.

Required Certifications:

1 of the following license or registry – RDMS (PS) – ARDMS, American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

Recommended Certifications:

ARRT – R.T.(S) or R.T.(VS), American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT), RDMS, AB, OB/GYN, RVT, VT, American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
