Job Title
Collections Associate
Location Solon, Ohio (Hybrid: Remote Mon/Fri, office Tues–Thurs)
Pay Range $25.00-$27.00
Overview Our client, a leader in financial services, is seeking a Collections Associate to join their team. As a Collections Associate, you will be part of the Collections Department supporting the Accounts Receivable team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and proactive problem‑solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Responsibilities
Support management and resolution of delinquent accounts receivable balances
Analyze data, prepare documentation, and collaborate with stakeholders to meet receivables and working capital goals
Reconcile accounts, investigate non‑payment or delinquency issues, and gather supporting documentation for collections or escalations
Communicate effectively with customers, internal departments, and third‑party agencies
Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to collections processes
Qualifications
Experience in collections (commercial preferred), accounts receivable, or customer service with exposure to high‑volume account management
Proficiency in SAP accounts receivable systems or equivalent accounting/ERP platforms (preferred)
Strong skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for data analysis, reporting, and communication
Analytical ability to conduct root‑cause analysis, identify payment trends/risks, and interpret complex account data
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts effectively
