Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking an AI Risk Manager to join their team. As an AI Risk Manager, you will be part of the Cybersecurity and Risk Management department supporting enterprise-wide AI initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategic thinking, proactive problem-solving, and strong communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Identify, assess, and monitor risks associated with AI systems, including model integrity, adversarial attacks, data poisoning, and privacy concerns.
Design and implement controls to mitigate AI-related risks, including model validation, explainability, and secure data handling.
Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations such as FFIEC, NIST AI RMF, and EU AI Act.
Support audits and regulatory examinations related to AI and cybersecurity risk.
Develop key risk indicators (KRIs) and metrics to monitor AI security posture and provide regular reporting to senior leadership and risk committees.
What's Needed?
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Risk Management, or related field.
7+ years of experience in technology risk or cybersecurity, with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML systems.
Strong understanding of AI/ML lifecycle, model governance, and security implications.
Familiarity with financial industry regulations and risk frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, COSO, and FFIEC.
Experience with cloud platforms, data governance, and secure software development practices.
