Essential Duties
Perform light mechanical work and routine maintenance on trucks and trailers.
Check batteries and change oil to ensure the proper functioning of vehicles.
Wash and clean the interior and exterior of trucks and trailers.
Inspect brake systems, wheel bearings, and steering mechanisms of trucks.
Assist with refurbishing trucks and trailers.
Repair, update, and restore interior and exterior mobile medical imaging unit finishes.
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical devices according to company guidelines.
Provide training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, or in person.
Test equipment functionality and perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.
Deliver and retrieve trucks-trailers from customer and service locations.
Secure medical imaging equipment appropriately prior to transport of medical units.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in carpentry, truck, trailer maintenance.
Understanding of trailer mechanical systems, electrical systems, and structural components.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
CDL Class A (or obtain license within 90 days of employment).
Professional demeanor.
Proven experience managing multiple priorities while maintaining composure under deadline pressure.
Ability to use time and resources efficiently.
Willingness and flexibility to travel as needed.
Physical Demands The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk or hear, perform tasks requiring fine motor skills to operate, inspect, and position objects, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
